• Engagement

It was cool outside. It was super foggy. We all agreed that it was worth the drive to the cute little beach town of Spring Lake, New Jersey. All smiles and full of hugs, Lara & Dave showed up ready to work it! The last time we hung out was at a Popography Couples Pizza making party at Ariana & Mario’s house. They are vivacious, fun loving and most of all head over heels for one another. The fog was super thick when we all arrived, but after an hour it started to burn off. We worked our way around the lake as folks were enjoying the cool day on playgrounds and others with fishing poles in hand. We giggled as we dreamed of what it would be like to live in one of the beautiful homes that surrounded the lake. It was like we were hanging out with best friends. We laughed, we joked, we had flower pedals in places you wouldn’t want them…it was a fantastic day. The beginning of Spring is one of the most gorgeous. The blooms were at their most beautiful and the fog just added that special romantic touch. Unbelievably perfect.

The beach was about 3 blocks over and by the time we got there, the fog had overtaken the beach. It was so thick you could feel it hit your skin. Our lenses were fogging over and we knew it was going to be tricky! ONWARD we went! Not a soul was on the beach. This is rare for us as photographers. We had the entire place to ourselves!! This was a sexy and flirty beach session. It was almost like Jeff and I weren’t there! Stop you guys…!! 🙂 We adore these two and it was so much fun. Pants full of sand, curly wet hair and flower pedals for days…it was worth everything. Congrats on your engagement and we can’t wait to celebrate with you on wedding day!
