- Engagement
It was sunny and breezy in the town of Little Silver. We met Melanie and Guy lakeside a few hours before the sunset. Guy grew up on this street in Little Silver and had got access to the lake from some friends. Melanie is the cutest little petite thing! They immediately showed us the row boat adorned with beautiful flowers. My excitement level shot through the roof!! They went through quite a bit to just get the boat in the first place and then to have beautiful floral- BONUS! We loved hearing the stories that Guy had about living on the very street we were shooting on. There were some homes that still were not rebuilt from Hurricane Sandy. It was a big eye opener to see some of the houses in shambles, while the others were completely rebuilt.
The lake was gorgeous and the homes were even more gorgeous. The dock we had access to was beautiful, too. These two were what I like to call “goo goo ga ga”. Melanie could not help but smile when she was with Guy. They have that natural, easy going love. Shooting the row boat was quite the challenge! Guy pulled some strings and go the boat and Melanie asked a friend to help with the flowers. I gotta say, it was worth it! This was our first time shooting a row boat! High five to Guy for his mad rowing skills. I think we made him circle around at least 3 times…against the waves. THANK YOU!
So happy that these two chose us to share in their adventure! And thank you making this engagement session such a blast!
