Shalyn :: Vintage Flying Museum Bridal :: POPography

When a bride approaches me with a concept that includes airplanes–you better know I am all about it! 😀

Funny story….Shalyn and I had booked the Vintage Flying Museum in Fort Worth, Tx back in March. Unfortunately, it rained and we knew that the water and clouds would not work out for what we had planned. So, we rescheduled for a later date. That date soon arrived and would you believe it– tornados and massive amounts of water and hail. So we then decided to hold off until after the wedding and make it an after session. Shalyn and her beautiful mother arrived on what was the HOTTEST day in Texas this summer. Yes, it was 107 degrees! Although we were shooting technically “inside”, it was in a hanger. There is NO air conditioning and little breeze. It was all about working fast and efficiently. She looked exactly as I thought she would– like a vintage doll! She had the cutest suitcases and a fabulous fur from Rent My Dust. Thank you Shalyn for being such a trooper. I still cannot believe you were wearing a fur and looking that HOT! You go girl!  You smiled and laughed throughout the entire experience!!

What a fun shoot and I am still gleaming over the results! Congrats on your new marriage!

xx
