Here in North Jersey you just can’t beat the beautiful Autumn weather and colors. Ringwood Manor and State Park is the perfect place to celebrate love with an engagement shoot. These two lovebirds were the perfect compliment to the colors changing around us. Suzanne works in a Cancer unit and Billy is a police officer. Both are such giving people and serving their communities. How fantastic is that? Immediately, I could feel how genuine and amazing these two are. They are all smiles, laughs and absolutely in love with each other. We met up at a cute little bar to have a drink and wait for the sun to start its setting over the beautiful hills full of colorful trees. We had perfect light for the entire shoot. THANKFUL!! Ringwood State Park is great for getting away from the chaos of life. Its winding walking trails are great for soaking in the Fall air and spending time with the ones you love.

After arriving, my mind was reeling with ideas and all the beautiful foliage. Suzanne and Billy are lovers of nature and being outdoors, so it was only natural to put them in compromising positions to test their adventurous spirits. There was a babbling creek full of rocks that was just screaming for us to jump into. Without even thinking twice, they were both tip toeing across the pebbled path leading each other to the middle of the water. I can happily say that no one was injured or even wet from this risk! I don’t always party fail, but I did on this shoot. Billy’s given name is William and apparently they told me from a long distance that he goes by Billy. I heard “Bob”.  All be darned if I didn’t call him the wrong name all day…and these two sweeties didn’t want to tell me incase it was too embarrassing! HA! Party foul. It did make for a funny laugh later. It was a beautiful day with two beautiful people. We are so excited they are getting married and super excited to we get to be a part of the celebration.

Congrats Suzanne & Billy, we can’t wait to see you again soon.
