It was a cool Spring day when I had the pleasure of meeting up with Jenna and Steve at Skyland’s Manor. I have gotten to shoot at this location several times before, but this time was quite different because it was super bright outside. I love a good challenge and these two lovebirds were down for some sunshine! Jenna is light on her feet, a go-getter and gorgeous. We were having the best of times chatting about the wedding details while Steve just watched in amazement. HA! Her rose gold ring is GORGEOUS and boy did Steve do a great job! We ran around the grounds of Skyland’s Manor with no interruptions. We pretty much had the entire place to ourselves. Steve is a biologist and had mentioned he loved being around water. I immediately remembered a place up the road that had a creek at Ringwood State Park. When we arrived the sun was peeking through the trees over the babbling creek. They tiptoed across the rocks and snuggled up on a log in the middle of the water. I then thought it would be cool to get in the creek and shoot with my 2 cameras and my pockets full of keys and cellphones. Yep, you are probably guessing what I am about to type. Plop! My iPhone dropped in the water with a loud splash that even Jenna and Steve could hear up the creek. Oh boy! Miraculously- the next day I checked and the phone was working perfectly. #worthit 😀 It was such a fun adventure and it was awesome to witness their love.
Congrats you two. I loved spending the day with you and can’t wait to watch you get married! Yeah!
xx
