- Engagement
The drive up the Hudson Valley is still like a dream for this Texas girl. The mountains full of colorful trees line the highways that wind up and around the curves as you climb higher and higher. When Pam and Mike said they wanted to shoot in the Fall foliage at Bear Mountain, I think I jumped for joy and immediately started looking for great shoes so I could “hike” for the first time! HA! It was one of the busiest times of year to go to the top of Bear Mountain to Perkins Memorial Observatory. At the top of this curvy drive up, you can see 360 degrees views of the Hudson Valley. What an epic place to take engagement photos and I am so grateful these two flew in from the gorgeous, Colorado. Being avid nature lovers, these two were eager to climb the giant rocks and show this girl how to maneuver the mountainous terrain. It’s really hard to take a bad photo at this park. Pam and Mike were down for just about anything and that made for some beautiful scenic photos. It was a great adventure and we didn’t want it to end! But, they would soon be heading back to their gorgeous state of CO and continue to plan their wedding that will be held at West Point next year.
These two were instant friends. Our car ride up and down the mountain was fun, adventurous and added some serious cardio exercise to my day. Loved EVERY minute. Congrats you two. We are so excited to celebrate your wedding and beyond! Cheers!
