- It truly is a world of instant gratification! People want things like…yesterday! Who can blame them?
- Sharing is the new black. Everyone wants to share information, stories, their favorite things and especially their photos.
My solution is to never stop changing, growing and inventing new ways to serve my clients. It’s important to adapt and keep the business fresh!
One of my biggest issues is having my clients linked to all different sources online. Printing, viewing, ordering, online cloud services…the list goes on. Go here to Print, Go here to access your photos online…I was having to send them to different places to find their photos. I started to feel unprofessional and really wanted to find a solution to make things more cohesive and user friendly. This is when PASS entered into my business. BEST decision so far. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a place where your clients can do everything all in one place?
When I first got into the photography business there was sense of protecting your images. No sharing, tons of money for a disc of images, print rights, etc. I didn’t see how you could shoot someones wedding day and then hold their images hostage! It was after all THEIR wedding day! I wanted them to be able to see their images easily anytime they wished and by all means- SHARE THEM! The old way of thinking was not an option for me or my business. I hated the entire process of DVDS. Burning, creating, packaging and mailing. Then the client would receive the DVD and it would take forever to load, they would scratch their DVD or want an extra copy. This was just all too much. I mean seriously, my computer doesn’t even have a disc drive anymore. 😀

As soon as your wedding is over you probably don’t want to sit and order prints with me. You probably want to share them on your Facebook wall ASAP. PASS allows for the client to start sharing right away. It credits the photographer, links to the clients website and shows the images beautifully in the social media world. There is no need for a bride to upload 150 copyrighted images to Facebook any longer. They can simple SHARE through PASS! Brilliant. This allows for your work to be properly credited and for the bride to save a lot of time!
