Asbury Park Boardwalk Trash the Dress :: Caitlin + Ed

Asbury Park Boardwalk is always full of excitement and bustling with interesting people. When Caitlin contacted me about trashing her Kleinfeld wedding dress, I was overly excited! Caitlin and Ed were married in June of last year and I can’t agree with her more. Wearing your wedding dress one time in your entire life span is just NOT enough! You don’t have to totally “trash your dress” to wear it again…you just have to be open the idea that it will get a little dirty before you send it off to dry cleaning! You should always consider doing a TTD before you send your gown to the cleaners.

It was hot on the Jersey Shore and the clouds were epic! We are in our last few weeks of summer and everyone was out and about enjoying the sun while we still have it. As Caitlin and Ed approached us from afar I could tell it was them 1. Because she obviously has a wedding dress on 2. They are both tall athletes. Immediately I realized how short I was…again. 4’11” in the house, y’all. Ed was a tall drink of water with his suit and suspenders. Caitlin radiated with her sun-kissed skin and perfect beach hair. We absolutely loved her Kleinfeld gown. It was hard to think we would be running through the ocean in it. HAHA “Congrats”, “You look so pretty”, people would say as we browsed the boardwalk and looked for cool spots. There were a couple of crazy looks from folks who noticed they were barefoot. It’s fun to keep people guessing! These two have that easy going kind of love. The kind where you instantly want to be their friends. Cait and Ed were down for just about anything. There really wasn’t anything too crazy for them. Just the way we like it!! We were sad to hear that they had tried to do another TTD session with another photographer and ended up with no photos and unfortunately the photographer injuring herself on the beach that day. So our #1 goal was for me to NOT get to crazy, climb up something and ultimately plummet into the ocean or a crowded boardwalk. 😀 Luckily, we were allllll good. Ed is a huge Bruce Springsteen fan. Like- B I G. So this area in New Jersey was the perfect place to convince him to dress in full wedding gear in the hot summer heat for his beautiful wife. Such a great dude. We had such a great time with these two. What an adventure we all had and we can’t wait to watch their marriage blossom. Congrats…again guys!!
