Berkeley Hotel Wedding in Asbury Park :: Melanie + Guy

The Berkeley Hotel is located next to the Asbury Park Boardwalk with tons of charm and history. The sand filled beaches are within a short walk and the location is superb. Melanie and Guy are a class act. They are silly, loving, passionate and LOVE photography. They are beautiful inside and out and we were so happy to celebrate on the shore with them. Mel and Guy have a keen eye for beautiful details and you can really see it in their wedding attire, venue and color palette. Their wedding was a magical day filled with love, laughter and some big moments with tears. The wedding party was absolutely fabulous and the bus ride over to the church was probably one of the funniest rides I have ever taken. Who knew the bridesmaid dresses would stain so easily! And watching those girls try to dry their dresses before the ceremony was hilarious. Mel and Guy decided to see each other for the first time when she walked down the aisle. We loved seeing Guy hold his mom’s hand as she turned the corner and made her way towards him. The beautiful Tiffany windows in the church added that extra special beauty, too. The kids in this wedding and at this wedding almost stole the show. They were so full of character and definitely gave all of us some laughs. One of our favorite parts of the day was probably when we hit the beach in full bridal gear. The beach goers were shouting congrats as they sat around sweating in the sun. Mel and Guy were running out to the jetty and the supermoon was creating 20-foot waves that crashed against the rocks. It was epic, it was fun and definitely a great memory for all of us. The celebration continued at the Berkeley with hints of gold and blush on the tablescapes. The birdcage next to the bride and groom table was unlike anything we have ever seen! This was a very unique way for guests to leave their card for the happy couple! Ice cream and snow cones were the best way to cool everyone down before ending the night. It was an epic party that we were sad to see it end! Congrats to Melanie and Guy!
