This was a full-circle moment, ya’ll. Meet Lindsay, Blane, and baby Caden. They were so kind to welcome me into their home to celebrate 1 month as a family of 3!

Lindsay was my student over 15 years ago when I was the elementary music teacher in the small town of Justin, Tx. We just moved back to Texas from New Jersey so everything feels super nostalgic. So when I passed the elementary school I once worked at to get to their house- I had ALL the feels. Life is funny like that. Bringing people back around in your life for different reasons. God always has a perfect plan to give you the desires of your heart in the most interesting way.

Just as I remember, Lindsay is kind and gentle, now a wife and mother. What JOY this brings me to share in this incredible experience with them! I have to give props to Blane, too. What a daddy! He has a magic touch and comfortability with a newborn that I haven’t seen in a first-time dad.

There is just something special about shooting in your home. The photos will hold memories of the color palette, furniture, or style of your home during that time. And there is an ease to the session when you know you can take breaks, change clothes, make a bottle, and just relax when needed.

Congrats to this beautiful new family. Can’t wait to see you again soon!
