There are just certain people who come into your life and there is an automatic connection. I remember talking to Leticia, Emily’s mom, over the phone when we were discussing the big Quiceanera celebration. She only wanted the very best for Emily. To even be considered ‘the best’ photographer for this special occasion was a blessing. My video team has shot with one of our most trusted vendors, Shaye’s Decorations, on several occasions. I had never been a part of a Quinceanera. Leticia totally trusted me and guided me through the process. A Quinceanera is the celebration of a girl moving from childhood to a young lady. There is a gorgeous ball gown, Mass and then a huge celebration! Faith, Family, Friendship- These are some of the most important things I have taken away from this amazing experience. I love traditions. I love to see how important it is to the generations before and after as they look back on their experience or look forward to being the girl in the gorgeous dress. These events are super impressive! No detail is spared! The dancing, outfit changes, amazing decor and fabulous music set the tone for a late night dance party! The entire POPography team was honored to be a part of this big day!

Emily is now the big 15! Your birthday was a huge success. We can’t wait to see where life is going to take you next. Congrats on a fabulous time in your life.
