I think I have met a much younger version of myself. We literally say and think the same things. What a precious soul this is.

World- meet the lovely and talented Jessica Rambo.

She has given me the distinct honor in mentoring her as she starts to take her business seriously and start building her dream! We put the computer and camera aside and talked for almost 2 hrs! She shared her testimony with me and it simply moved me. I see some of myself in her…she is determined, persistent and works hard for what she wants. She knows her purpose and I am just so glad I get to take part in the process. Together we worked on her new website, wedding workflow, client expectations, business and all that jazz. 🙂

As we started this session in my home town, Rhome, the wind picked up and we soon decided to put up the reflectors. ha! As we we were packing things up Jessica was super excited to see a friendly skunk crossing the street. He was alive! We watched him cross the road safely and moved on with our priorities! It wasn’t but about 5 minutes after that we smelled something, but after checking the road- he seemed to be running free. 🙂 We shot for about an hour and made our way into a wooded area that we discovered after our curiosity led us beyond what we could see. Jessica noticed someone coming through the woods…it was a cop! Oops! I wasn’t worried about trespassing…but more that he might think we are dangerous. I made sure to greet him with sweet words and told him I had a camera and was a photographer. I didn’t want him to think I had a gun! hah He was super friendly and even stayed around to chit chat for a bit. My sessions are never boring. Ever. It was a fabulous and event filled mini session.
