It was a family affair. The more the merrier I always say! This just means you have a fabulous group of people who love you!

Meghan is the sweetest little thing ever. And I must add, what a great sense of style she has too! Her outfits were perfect and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect session. I got to the scene early and started scouting. It is so fun to look at a very ‘ugly’ spot in a small town and make awesomeness out of it. This is one of my favorite parts of the experience. Sometimes it takes a few extra minutes to find a gem of a spot.

Eileen, aka mom #2, was so great to help with bouncing light and making the photos gorgeous! I sure do appreciate a helpful parent. A few minutes into the shoot Shelly, aka MOM, joined us and the session then started to get really good! I loved seeing both of her mom’s in one spot celebrating with her. Dad wasn’t too far behind with kids in tote… it was a fun time.

We got super lucky. I mean LUCKY. There was a perfect field of wild flowers with the sun directly behind. WOW. We hit it at the perfect time, too. I drove by this same spot yesterday and it is now gone and plowed over. I’m so glad we made it in time! Our final spot was something I had scouted out  a few weeks ahead of time. It was a long winding road with 7 ft high fields on both sides. I had perfectly planned the timing so that we could use the sunset as our backdrop. Would you believe that by the time we got there half of the field was already cut down?? It was kind of a blessing in disguise though– Bobby had to climb out into the chopped down field to get the light out of the wide shots. 🙂 Everything works out as it should.

FABULOUS family and FABULOUS shoot. Congrats on everything Meghan and we can’t wait to see where life takes you.
