It is an honor and pleasure to be asked to 2nd shoot weddings. I love supporting other photographers and their craft. Seeing new cities, meeting new people and learning to see the wedding day through a second shooter eye is exhilarating. I had the privilege of shooting with Scott Vuocolo in Philadelphia. The bride and groom were absolutely stunning! I was able to hang out with the groom and his buddies for the first portion of the day. The wedding was at the beautiful Waterworks in the Arts District of Philly. We took pictures at the Philadelphia Art Museum! That was super cool for this Texas Gal! Rocky ran up those stairs! There were some great moments throughout the day. The first being the old crazy man who walked right in front of the bride with his walker. Everyone was trying to let him know politely that there was a WEDDING going on! He was completely clueless. Then I was able to catch all of the family and friends with their phones ready to get the bride coming. I think 85% of the people in the wedding had their phones and iPads ready to take the first photos of the bride. 🙂 We took a short hike across town to the reception. The ceilings in this country club were amazing! I had some time to spend with the kids of the wedding. They were ready for their close ups! We enjoyed a few moments together shooting and that just made their day. The DJ was fantastic and the music kept everyone on their feet. It was a fun time in Philly.
Thank you to SCV Imagery for inviting me to shoot! It was a blast!
