We still remember having our first chat with this super chic rock and roll couple. Two hairless cats running across the skype call told us that these two lovers were going to be a lot of fun. Caiti and Ian have been here, there, and everywhere together. California is just one of the places they have lived on their adventures together. Ian spent some time traveling with his Rock and Roll band mates and we were super stoked that they were his groomsmen. The bond between these guys was unmatched and we felt a real sense of brotherhood. Down the hall, Caiti and her closest friends were running around in their silky robes and heart-shaped sunnies. While the girls were busy steaming dresses, the guys were taking tequila shots and ironing. HA! The guys had woke up nice and early to try and catch some waves, but the tide was just too insane for surfing. The wind was blowing at a steady 25mph making just about anything outdoors hard to do. The wind didn’t stop us from adventuring outdoors! Caiti and Ian have their own unique style and it was important to us to let that come through in their photos. The wedding party was a combination of their very closest friends and everyone was ready for a rad day. The girls all bought their dresses individually since they were split between coasts and you wouldn’t have ever known! They fit together perfectly! The guys had the coolest leather suspenders skulls on their ties. What an incredible group of friends they have. We had the BEST time with everyone.
The ceremony was led by the two “Bloom Dudes” with the cutest skull adorned baskets. There was hardly a dry eye as Caiti made her way down the aisle to Ian who was grinning ear to ear. It was a super sweet ceremony that was followed by a very windy session by the beach. The wind did not choose to cooperate so we went for it. Caiti was cracking us up! She kept covering her eyes so that her eyelashes would not fly off. A girl after my own priorities 🙂 This was the first time these two love cats had been in front of our cameras, but oh holy wow- they were so easy to photograph. They are so in love and it shows. Keeping with the Rock theme, the reception was decorated with Rock and Roll idols and the cupcake tower was topped with one of our favorites, “The Night Before Christmas”. Listening to the speeches about Caiti as a little girl playing dress up on any and every occasion really shed light on her fun loving personality. And hearing how adventurous Ian was from his best friends was inspiring. These two are a power couple! The dance floor was full of awesome people, too! Everyone danced until they took their heels off for the night. We found out from one of the toasts that Caiti has an epic experience of sorts while singing and dancing to Toto by Africa. And how appropriate that this was the final song!!! YES!! Winning in every way! And guess what, I’m blogging to this song right now! 🙂
Congrats love birds…so stoked for your new adventure in marriage!
