West Hills Country Club Pink and Gold Wedding :: Ashley + Rick

You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful New York day. The West Hills Country Club is surrounded by a luxurious golf course and rolling hills. It was the picture perfect day for a Pink and Gold inspired wedding. There was sparkly Gold accents everywhere- you can’t argue with that! Absolutely gorgeous details and the luxurious succulent bouquet was to die for. Ashley chose to get ready in the bridal suite with her mom and her sister. It was calm, quiet and no sense of rushing. Ashely was lucky enough to have her sister, Breanne, do her make up. It was fun to watch all the ladies talk and hangout as they overlooked the club. The skies were the bluest of blue and the weather was quite pleasant for August! All of the bridesmaids chose their own dresses and it really came together well. The men also wore mixed suits in different shades of grey. We really loved this relaxed mix and it looked like everyone was comfortable being in their own clothes. Loved the idea!

One of our favorite parts of the day was when Ashley revealed herself to bridesmaids. What a fabulous group of ladies. Their reaction was fantastic and it really set the excitement for the day. Rick arrived with all of the groomsmen looking super dapper. His tailor cut navy suit and bow tie were a perfect fit. Watching Ashley and Rick see each other for the first time was magical. The wedding party and parents were watching from afar as they saw each other for the first time. We absolutely love Ashley and Rick. They have such sweet spirits and truly are a joy to be around. We all hopped on golf carts and made our way through the gorgeous golf course. We were told there would be an epic view…and boy was he right! It was a sweet ceremony tucked away in the courtyard of the club. Ashley and Rick’s smiles said it all- they were married!

The wedding party was huge! Probably our largest wedding party to date! They were all dressed in an outfit of their choosing and were very encouraging to make sure we get epic shots for Ashley and Rick. So, as we were approaching this big hill and the sun was setting, I had to get creative really quick. So what did I do? I ran down the biggest hill I could find so that I could get an epic shot, of course! They cheered me on as risked my life and rolling down the hill with all of my gear attached! Go team! The sky was too beautiful to not highlight, so down the hill I went. I think we all agree that it was totally worth it! Thanks guys!

The celebration was epic from the very start. So Good Entertainment has a live drummer with their DJ and I really think that this adds some extra pizzaz. Love it. Ashley and Rick went straight into dancing after running through a cheering tunnel of friends. The dance floor was never empty…never boring…always entertaining! Guests of all ages were getting down all evening and it made for some epic moments. Ashley has a very luxurious taste and it showed. Gold, sparkling accents, chandeliers and touches of pink. I can’t say enough about how gorgeous it was under the big white tent! Now, back to the dance floor! Rick and his boys had a string full of songs that they requested and I think they sang EVERY word and had the perfect dance moves. At one point, I had to finally dance…it was only the right thing to do. Gosh…what a fun night. We loved every moment of the day.

So happy for these two. Congrats Ashley & Rick… you are our forever friends. This is the start of something beautiful and we are so glad we were and are apart of it.
