- Engagement
It was another beautiful and warm day in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Pretty weather for some pretty people!
Engagements are so fun. Especially when the couple is madly in love. His smile is only this big for her. She looks at him with pure joy. PRECIOUS!
Will knew this place like the back of his hand! The Stockyards serves as his playground and he directed me to some cool places to shoot! Nina is full of confidence and beauty. I LOVE women like her!! They made my job very easy. I don’t know why I give my clients nicknames during our sessions, but I do. At one point in our shoot I called him ‘honey’ and then proceeded to call him ‘honey boo boo child’! Oh my goodness. I kind of like it 🙂
I love when a session gets super personalized to what the couple loves to do. Will got us in to PR’s where they love to hang out. They had the whole dance floor to themselves as they two stepped to 106.1 music. We were faking it and it was a blast! This session was never boring…we were lucky enough to even see a reindeer. YES, a reindeer. You may call it an elk, but it was a reindeer to us! It almost attacked Joey’s camera! (See the video) There was a nice pile of dirt to play in and I just couldn’t help but get my video guy and assistant to kick it around for me! I loved the photo…and how dirty we all got! We rounded the corner to see a TRAIN! I have been to the Stockyards more times than I like to admit and have never seen the train. With people watching and on guard we made a run for the train! And we safely got the photo and walked away like nothing happened 🙂 Then towards the end of the day we really wanted to shoot in the stalls where the longhorns were hanging out. Of course it was covert op style…sneaking and running. BUT, we did it!! And I’m super happy about he photos! SO FUN
Guys, seriously– one of the most awesome couples.
Congrats!!! Can’t wait to see you on wedding day!
