Carpenter Family :: Downtown Fort Worth Family Session :: Popography

December 5, 2012

My heart stopped for just a second when the phone rang. Was she really calling me? Mollie Carpenter of Wise Photography & 2 Chicks that Click was calling my phone. I’m not going to lie- I was a little nervous. Four years ago when I was thinking of starting a business I followed Mollie online. She is a photographer in Decatur that I look up to! Shooting other photographers is always a little nerve racking. When the family of 5 showed up in downtown Fort Worth they were dressed up and ready to go. Lindy leads this pack for sure. Little miss thang was turning 5 years old that day and was ready to celebrate. There may have been some bribing with candy 🙂 The boys were so careful to watch over Lindy and make sure she was safe in the big city. Sibling love!

Mom and dad got a small break as we took the kids across the street and started their photos. We were located in downtown Fort Worth off of Lancaster Street. There is an old Post Office building and really cool modern backdrops. We took full advantage of all of it. I had scouted a field that I knew would be perfect at the end of the shoot for some dreamy grass photos. We timed it well and the photos say it all.

Thank you for entrusting me with your photos! It was honor to spend time with the family and shoot a fellow photog!

xx
