Fun. Adventurous. History Buffs!
These two are absolutely awesome. It is still Fall here in New Jersey, but most of the leaves have left their branches and been swept away by the wind. When entering the quaint town of Cranbury, New Jersey it was quite different. The trees were still full of gorgeous red, orange and yellow and the weather was beautiful. Jennifer and Gabe were married 3 years ago and happily reside in this cute little historic town. Jennifer contacted me after having a bad experience with their wedding photographer. Things don’t always go as planned in life, but I was going to make sure they would walk away with photos they could love and cherish to remind them of this amazing time in their lives. Some might call this a Re-Engagement. I like it. How romantic! You have a real appreciation for the relationship at this point in your journey and the photos happen so naturally.
We were welcomed into their gorgeous home as we prepared to go out and shoot. After just a few minutes of talking I knew these two were going to be a hoot! They love the charm of Cranbury so much that they commute over 1.5 hr to work! I thought this was a little crazy until they took me on a little stroll through town. It was like being on a history tour! The graveyard was absolutely stunning and I can honestly say I have never shot a couple with tombstones. Some of the stones marked as far back as the 1800’s! Walking up and down the main road in town reminded me of a movie. A place where everyone knows everyone, the folks wave as they drive by and not chain restaurants are within 20 minutes. I loved listening to them talk about why they loved Cranbury and I ended up loving it just as much.
Thank you for inviting me into your home and helping you continue your love story. You and your town are quite charming. Wishing you all the best in whats to come!
xx
