Energetic. Spirited. All smiles.

It was our first time in Atlantic City. Casinos line the boardwalk where the people fill the beaches for the last bit of warm weather.

Meeting couples for the first time is always a little nerve wracking. You want to make a good impression. You want to connect and establish a friendship. That is the beauty of the engagement session. I can honestly say this is the first time we have met a couple in a casino! I was coming up the escalator in the Tropicana Casino as they were about to come down the opposing escalator. I pointed and yelled “Hey, there’s my bride and groom!”. The energy from these two is magnetic. We all instantly connected right there in the middle of all the casino chaos. Happy, happy, happy. These two are HAPPY! We were so happy to finally meet them face to face.

New Jersey has had a very mild summer. It’s almost felt like Spring for 4 months! Mother Nature decided to change things up and it was a blistering 90 degrees with 85% humidity. You would never be able to tell how hot it really was by looking at these two love birds. The wind, the humidity, the heat- it all added up to H.O.T. This had to be one of the craziest sessions we have shot. Why, you ask?

1. The storms held off until we were finished shooting! Yeah!

2. We asked a man for leftover pizza to feed to the birds. He looked at me funny, but gave the bread anyways. HA!

3. A Hookah Bar let us come into their white pillow wonderland to shoot !

4. We found a cool Life Guard Boat on the beach that was a perfect prop!

5. The sunset was absolutely PERFECT for the last 10 minutes of the shoot before the storm rolled in.

6. We found a towel to wash & dry our feet off after being covered in sand. I know that seems weird, but have you ever tried washing and drying your feet as you get off the beach? Thank you Mr. Towel.
