GAH! Every once in a while I walk away from a session giddy like a school girl. I go home in a rush to download the images, cull the images and immediately start editing. THIS was one of those occasions. I would like to pretend this rarely happens, but it happens a lot. My husband sees me for all of 5 minutes before I’m glued to my computer clicking away. Driving home is the worst. One hand driving and the other hand scrolling through the images on the back of my camera all while bobbing up and down to some house music. Such is my life.

Sarah is so fun to shoot. A woman with a sense of style is always a plus in my book. She loves the little details of necklaces, shoes and bracelets. And lets face it- her messy bun was a HUGE bonus. How adorable! Steven is a character. What a rad dude. Every time I asked him a question he would look to Sarah and ask her what the answer is. 🙂 These two are just too cute. Starting over drinks was a fun plan and I highly suggest this for anyone! 🙂

Like most of my brides, Sarah was super concerned with the location of their shoot. What I want brides to realize is that the location is not as important as you think! I always take the path less chosen anyways and end up in a dark alley somewhere…so no stress girls. Just giving me an idea of what type of “feel” you want will be enough info to drive us all in the right direction. Besides, the photos are all about peering into your relationship and not so much about where you were. We ended up going to location neither of us knew very well! We were truly flying by the seat of our pants. So much fun to discover something new together. Downtown Mckinney was a perfect backdrop from the cute stores, amazing bar, fabulous alleys and of course the trees in someones yard! 🙂 And what a treasure we found in the cute little bar called Churchill’s.

I had a blast. One of my favorite engagements yet. Congrats you two!
