Roxbury, New York is absolutely stunning and the drive from New Jersey is full of oo’s and awe’s. The Inn at West Settlement is a cozy place to get married. The inn is nestled in the Catskill Mountains with a welcome home feel and a beautiful party barn. The views are unbelievable in every direction. We were super excited to celebrate with Suzanne and Bill and enjoy a weekend away for their rustic wedding. We arrived to warm hello’s and the girls getting ready upstairs. Like any old house, there are cute rooms upstairs and loads of charm. Suzanne was surrounded by her nearest and dearest upstairs with makeup and hair in full swing. Their pup, Sarge, was ready for his close-up as he napped in preparation for the big day. We loved that dogs were warmly welcomed as much as the people! Suzanne’s dad sat down upstairs and the girls draped a towel around his neck. We were confused at first, but soon realized he was getting a wedding day haircut! HA! Suzanne slipped into her lace gown as another cute dog watched with a tuxedo and top hat on. I mean, how much more fun could this wedding be? Bill was downstairs with Sarge as Suzanne made her way down the stairwell to for their first look.

The Inn really is a photographer’s dream. There is a beautiful view in every direction and the weather was nice and cool. Suzanne and Bill have an easy going kind of love. They are so relaxed and this setting was the perfect place for them. They surround themselves with equally amazing friends. Their wedding party are not only gorgeous and friendly, but they had all made the trip to spend the weekend with them! With the Fall leaves, the big white barn, and the gorgeous wedding party- everything was epic. The ceremony was set with the most gorgeous view and benches for all of the guests to watch from. Suzanne made her way out of the front door and onto the porch and never looked more beautiful. Even after a first look, she was still so emotional. Gah, I think we were all still emotional! It was a quiet, sentimental ceremony that really spoke volumes into kind of relationship these two have.

The party was just getting started in the barn across the road. The giant glowing spheres in the barn were undeniably cool. The mixed china dishes on the long farm tables added that extra charm to all of the fall details. We loved the pumpkins and gourds that were mixed in with the rustic details. The party barn earned its name this night! The drinks were flowing, a bonfire was lit, and the dance floor was open. There was only one way to end an epic day in the mountains- Fire works. And they were awesome!! We are so very excited for Suzanne, Bill, and Sarge as they go into the world as a family. The wedding was great. The people were great. And we are so thrilled we were a part of it all.
