Cajun + Texan

Sounds like a perfect combo to me!

We had the privilege of shooting a Louisiana Engagement session over Christmas break. My husband, Jeffrey, is originally from Louisiana and Daniel is his roommate from college and life long friend. Both Jeffrey and Daniel attended LSU together. Their inside jokes are so old that Emily and myself were left clueless! Emily comes from the same great state as me- Texas! Graduating from Texas A&M makes this story even more fun. I’d like to believe that there will alway be a Cajun/Texas battle! It’s only fitting that both boys found Texas girls to marry! Good choice boys!

The weather was cold, freezing, humid and then hot. But for this small block of time together it was a perfect 70 degrees. It was awesome to get to know them as a couple and make plans for their wedding to be held in Texas. We are thrilled for them and so excited to come back to the south to shoot their wedding day.

Congrats Emily & Daniel! Thanks for taking time during the holidays to shoot together!
