We started off the day with all of the ladies at The Oyster Point Hotel in Red Bank. The girls were all dressed in champagne sparkling dresses as Amanda put on her gorgeous dress in the room next door. The room overlooked the water where the boats sat in the marina waiting for the rain to roll in. Most brides would probably be worried about the rain, but Amanda was cool and calm and knew it would all work out as it should. And guess what- it did! By the time we were leaving the hotel for Windows on the Water, the rain had made its way to Red Bank. One of the best parts of this space is the beach front property and beautiful views. Upon arriving we decided to do the first look inside and gauge whether or not we should attempt to shoot outdoors. After a few quick conversations with our super awesome couple, they gave us permission to pull them outdoors if the rain slowed down. Miraculously, there was a slight break in the rain and the beaches were cleared because of it. A whole beach to ourselves??? We were stoked! Amanda, Wes and the entire wedding party darted through the crowded porch and made their way to the sandy beach. We had about 15 minutes of no rain and we took full advantage of it! After the ceremony, the rain still came from the sky and all of us decided to make a run for it. Just do it, as Nike says. We ran for the waves and let the rain fall around us. We moved fast and laughed a lot. There were a few families still on the beach embracing mother nature and they had a fun time running around the newly married couple!

We can’t say enough about Amanda and Wes. They truly embraced their wedding day with a sense of adventure. There was no amount of rain that would ruin their day. It was worth the messy hair and wet clothes- FOR SURE! The reception was nothing short of amazing. Wes even joined the band with his groomsmen to perform a song for his bride. The dance moves on this dance floor were unmatched!! It was an epic day for an epic couple.

We are so happy to call you our friends and congratulate you as husband and wife! We wish you all the best as you move forward in your marriage! Cheers to you both! And huge hug to all of your family from us!
